Privacy Policy

Local-first storage
CareCalendar stores asset names, sub-items, maintenance schedules, reminders, vendor details, costs, completion history, settings, and copied attachments on the user’s device. The current build does not upload this information to AWS or another CareCalendar server.
Information users enter
Users decide what maintenance, vendor, contact, financial, contract, invoice, document, and photo information to add. CareCalendar uses it only to provide the requested features on the device.
Notifications and external apps
If permission is granted, reminders use the device’s local notification service. Email, WhatsApp, calls, file sharing, and Apple purchase actions are handed to the external application or service selected by the user. CareCalendar does not store outgoing messages or calls.
Subscriptions
Apple processes App Store purchases and subscription status. CareCalendar receives entitlement information required to provide subscribed features. It does not receive or store payment-card details.
Backups, retention, and deletion
A backup is created only when the user requests it, and the user chooses where it is stored or sent. JSON backups exclude attachment contents. Information remains on the device until the user edits or deletes it, uses Delete Everything in CareCalendar Settings, or uninstalls the app.
Sharing, analytics, and advertising
Live family or friend sharing is not enabled in this local-only build. This build contains no advertising SDK, cross-app tracking, behavioural analytics, or sale of personal information.
